Tilba Chamber of Commerce (TCOC) is a not for profit organisation which aims to:

  • Promote the Tilba region as an excellent tourist destination
  • Advertise local businesses in a variety of media (e.g. Tilba Brochure, Facebook)
  • Stimulate and improve business opportunities in the Tilba region
  • Advocate for local businesses’ interests and issues
  • Work proactively with local government – Eurobodalla Shire Council on behalf of the local business community
  • Liaise with the Heritage Council of NSW regarding the Tilba Conservation Area
  • Access benefits for local members though NSW Business Chamber (e.g. legal advice, webinars, discounts on insurance, electricity etc)
  • Develop a Business Plan to strategically address issues pertaining to tourism in the region
  • Host the Tilba Easter Festival held each Easter Saturday
  • Support local organisations with community building and fund raising events
  • Maintain the villages’ surrounds

TCOC provides members with:

  • A support network
  • Opportunities to get to know other business owners
  • A forum for raising business related issues in a meaningful way
  • Direct access to Eurobodalla Shire Council
  • Information on initiatives, services, activities, opportunities in the Eurobodalla Shire
  • Opportunities to promote businesses via social media –e.g. TCOC facebook page: www.facebook.com/tilbachamberofcommerce
  • A Chamber of Commerce website

Meetings are held:

  • In the small hall, Bate Street Central Tilba
  • On the first Wednesday of each month
  • At 5pm
