- Tilba Online is a privately run, commercial, online promotional brochure.
- Tilba Online does not represent or speak for the wider Tilba community (or business community) – the site is simply an online resource featuring individual businesses who wish to purchase a listing and annual subscription for online presence and promotion.
- All content (text content, logos, files, photography and video) on this site is subject to copyright and duplicating it without prior consent it is strictly prohibited.
- All content on business listings on this site is managed by its owner. If that content is in breach of copyright, please contact the respective owner via their contact form.
- Tilba Online takes no responsibility for content in breach of copyright that has been uploaded by a third party.
- Events entries on the calendar are managed by the Tilba Chamber of Commerce. Tilba Online takes no responsibility for its accuracy.
- While best efforts are maintained, Tilba Online takes no responsibility for the accuracy of any content on the site.
- Tilba Online has been designed to work on the latest browser software, and one version prior. We take no responsibility for its presentation on outdated browsers.
- Tilba Online is backed up monthly and employs numerous security measures to prevent it from being hacked. In the event of a malicious attack, the site owners will employ reasonable measures to reinstate the website quickly.
- We cannot guarantee uptime or against loss of data between backups.
- We recommend business owners keep a copy of the text used in their business listing and any photos used.
- All business listings are paid annually in advance.
- The renewal date for each listing is January 1.
- Premium advertising positions are highly sought after. To help deliver a fair marketplace for these, we will:
- advertise the available spots to all subscribers via email & a flyer in the post
- set a date with reasonable notice (around 1 month)
- provide an online link to reserve your spot
- grant the positions on a first in, first serve basis
- Premium advertising positions cannot be reserved in advance for any period, outside of the above process outlined.
- New clients will be billed on a pro-rata basis if they sign up after January 1. This applies to new Tilba Online clients, not those with lapsed subscriptions.
- Cancellations – business listings are paid annually in advance and are not refundable. We require two weeks notice prior to January 1.
- Cancellations – not paying the annual subscription fee is not a cancellation. An account keeping fine of $50 will be applied to lapsed subscriptions that have not cancelled with 2 weeks notice. This will be sent 8 weeks after the original invoice has been issued. The listing will then be suspended.
