Tilba Tilba
Tilba Tilba and Gulaga

Nestled at the base of the imposing » Gulaga/Mt Dromedary, Tilba is only minutes drive from the popular South Coast fishing and tourism towns of Narooma and Bermagui.

• Tilba is also only just over an hours drive (south) from Batemans Bay and (north) from Merimbula - both great coastal holiday destinations.

From the major capitals, Tilba is around 370kms south of Sydney along the Princes Highway (which makes it a 4½-5 hour drive).

From the national capital of Canberra Tilba is about a three hour drive via either Batemans Bay or Cooma/Bega.

From Melbourne the trip to Tilba is about 700km and usually takes the best part of a whole day's drive.

There are airports serving the area at Moruya, 40 minutes drive north, and at Merimbula (see map).

Both have a number of flights daily to and from Melbourne and Sydney.

With its close proximity to the popular tourist locations along both the Eurobodalla Nature Coast and the Sapphire Coast, Tilba is a great option for any South Coast visitor looking for something different for that ideal day-trip option.

But with so many attractions right at hand Tilba also makes a great base for a longer visit to enjoy everything the South Coast has to offer.

In many ways a Tilba holiday offers the best of both the Nature and Sapphire Coasts - with beaches, lakes and National Parks all around, But if the weather is not so great there are also the galleries, shops, cafes, gardens and winery to still enjoy.
